3 Holistic Ways to Feel Beautiful Inside and Out!

My face cream is almost finished, and it’s time to buy a new one. I happen to be using a ridiculously expensive organic brand right now, and I’m tempted to buy it again, because I really see the benefits it’s doing to my face. But then again, I may very well try something new this time – as part of my eternal quest for beautiful skin. What if there is something even better out there? And even healthier?

I happen to love breathing in the fresh aroma of creams in pretty jars decorated with alluring words. Now in my 40s, if a cream doesn’t come with the magical words “tightening, glowing, and wrinkle reducing” I’m not as likely to buy it. I should add though – over the last few years, I’ve become much more environmentally conscious, and if a product also delivers a statement to be vegan, and has no-animal testing that’s a double winner!

Ask yourself why you want to look beautiful

For quite some time I would often ask myself why it was so important for me to look beautiful. After all, I have chosen a very spiritual path, with a dedicated meditation and yoga practice, and spend most of my evenings at home – reading a good book.

So why do I feel the need to add some sparkles to my inner shine?

The answer I found within myself, is this: I love expressing myself fully – and that includes my entire self – my inner and outer qualities!

I work so much on myself within with inner work  – listening to my dreams, contemplating on my emotional reactions and thoughts about myself and others – so why wouldn’t I also give some attention to my outer beauty…?

I believe our inner and outer beauty shine together when we’re balanced, that’s why it’s so special and sacred when we nurture both – at the same time! Below I have summarized 3 beautiful holistic approaches for our inner and outer beauty.

1. Love Yourself and Accentuate Qualities within Yourself that You Cherish

When we come from this approach – of wishing to bring out the best in ourselves, that’s a lot healthier than trying to remove something we don’t feel happy about.

What you focus on – is where you’re heading. Focus on positive attributes, and don’t weigh yourself down with negative thinking.

Love yourself! And make you sure you know it! Smile at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself how loved you are. Say “I love you” many times to yourself.

If you love your smile, sprinkle some pixie dust on your lips with a fun gloss!

If you love your cheekbones, add some extra definition!

If you you love your hair, wear it in a flattering style!

2. Feel Confident

Have you noticed how confident people radiate with inner beauty and shine like suns?

When we’re confident, we are living from our heart, and this is where the magic happens. When we tap into our inner power, we are aligned with our source, and light is flowing through us.

If you have confidence, you have true inner glow!

To give yourself an extra love nudge, reach for the sky, and walk around in the best posture you could ever imagine!

3. Embrace your Eternity

Growing older is a beautiful process. We become wiser, and have so much love, inspiration and insights to share with people around us.

With each year, embrace your life,  your connection to your higher self, and see yourself like a graceful goddess, timeless and vibrant.

When you tap into eternity, you know you are not just your body, and with this incredible knowing, you have eternal beauty!

Express gratitude to the body you’re in, and shower your entire being with love: Body, mind and soul. Be kind to your body, eat well and exercise, be kind to your mind – practice mindfulness and think good thoughts, and be kind to your soul – meditate, honor your dreams, and stay connected with your source!
